cultural enthusiast. entrepreneur. VISIONARY.
Michelle Victoria Cherubin - born & raised in South Florida and currently based in Madrid, Spain.
One of the first things I remember getting as a child was my passport. My parents, both immigrants from Haiti, wanted my younger sister and I to have the opportunity to see - the world, its people and its beauty.
My childhood was rooted in travel and exploration, giving me the chance to see incredible waterfalls in Bali and beautiful ceremonial offerings in Thailand but at the same time, I also was able to see great need. The need for compassion. The need for solutions.
My upbringing contributed to the creation of a passionate and curious individual who is addicted to the growth and the advancement of the collective. For that reason, I've dedicated my academic and professional career to philanthropic, sustainable, innovative, and community-driven causes...not because they "look good" on paper, but because they feel good.
With a Bachelor’s in Non-Profit Management from the University of Central Florida and a Master in Management from IE Business School, my career spans the intersection of sustainability, fashion, and community. I’ve managed high-profile partnerships, helped luxury brands source more responsibly, and raised awareness for environmental causes.
But beyond fashion and innovation, what grounds me is culture and authentic representation. And that’s why I created DIASPORA—a space that celebrates the richness, resilience, and radiance of Africa and it’s diaspora.
Whether I’m working with women-focused initiatives, curating cross-cultural events, or building sustainable collaborations, everything I do comes back to one core mission: to uplift communities, challenge narratives, and create spaces where we all have a seat at the table.
